Dear Ron,

Once again Google has built a better product than their competitors. Gmail is an excellent way to manage multiple email accounts, using Webmail or POP mail.

Gmail is free and gives you 2,6GB (and counting). You'll never have to delete another email. Gmail has superior spam protection and can be sent and read in most languages. And you benefit from Google's search technology when searching your emails.

King West Flowers
The secret is search
Just type a few keywords into the search box and your message appears. You don't have to remember where you put your mail.

It's all in how you look at it
You'll see your messages in context. If there was a reply to a message you sent or received, Gmail will automatically display it in chronological order with the original.

Never lose a message again
You never know when you might need to see a message again. So why delete it?

Filing email is not the best use of your time
Storing mail in folders with subfolders and nested sub-sub folders is not a productive way to spend your day. What's the point? With Gmail, you can find an entire email exchange organized as a conversation, just by searching for keywords that appear in any one of the emails that's part of it.

Frying your spam
Google continues to work on spam filters to keep unwanted messages out of your inbox.

It has ads. But only good ads
Gmail isn't a traditional webmail account. There are no pop-ups, untargeted banner ads or warnings urging you to buy more storage.
The Mail Fetcher
Gmail allows you to fetch mail from your other, non-Gmail accounts. You'll be able to read email from up to 5 additional accounts, all in one place, and take advantage of all of Gmail's great features. Note that the email accounts you would like to fetch will need to support POP access. Some free email services, including Yahoo! Mail and MSN Hotmail, don't offer POP access to their users at this time.

Outgoing Gmail messages can display another one of your email addresses in the 'From:' field, instead of your Gmail address. This feature allows to you to send and receive email from an unlimited number of your email addresses.

Please note:
Your Gmail address will still be included in your email headers in the sender field, to help prevent your mail from being marked as spam. Most email clients do not display the sender field, though some versions of Microsoft Outlook may display "From customaddress@domain.com on behalf of yourusername@gmail.com."

Tip:
If you have a number of different email addresses, enter all of them in your Gmail account, and then select a different address to send each of your messages from, depending on what you're sending. You can also choose to send all replies from the email address to which a message was sent.

For great email management try Gmail!
